In the middle of Hampton Roads, you'll find the charming port city of Portsmouth.  You'll love its central location - just a 20-minute drive from Virginia Beach - and it's home to the largest children's museum in the state of Virginia.  The historic charm of Portsmouth is evident in its five museums, landmarks, and plentiful shopping and dining.  The waterfront includes crusies and recreational boating, and other activities include championship golf, tennis, and fishing.
